One of the things you must do is find your model number. When you are booking your virtual appliance repair appointment, you will be asked about the model number of your appliance. This is very important because when we know this number, we can properly repair the appointment with you and tell you which tools you will need. It is also helpful to know the serial number as well as the series numbers. Those numbers are usually written on a sticker or metal plate somewhere on your appliance. The appliance model number tag or plate will look similar to the picture shown below.
Look for the model number on the Refrigerator:
Here is where you can find your model number.
- Door frame
- Interior walls of refrigerator or freezer
- Behind the crisper drawer
- Behind the kick plate
Look for the model number on the Cooktop:
- Under one of the burners
- Under one of the control knobs
- Underneath the cooktop (if it lifts up)
- Down-draft models; under intake grate inside the vent duct
Look for the model number on the Dryer/Washer:
- Dryer door frame
- Front of the cabinet (near the top)
- Inside of the dryer door
- Inside of the washer door
- Washer door frame
- Front or side of the base unit (near the bottom)
Look for the model number on the Dishwasher:
- Inside edge of the unit (left, right, or top)
- Edge of the door (left, right, or top)
Look for the model number on the Washer Top Load:
- Along the top of the control panel
- Under the lid
- Back of the cabinet
- The rim of the tub (right rear)
- Front or side base of the unit (near the bottom)
Look for the model number on the Washer Front Load:
- Back of the cabinet (near the top)
- Door frame
- Inside the door
- Front or side of the base unit
Look for the model number on the Dryer Front Load:
- Back of the cabinet (near the top)
- Door frame
- Inside the door
- Front or side of the base unit
Look for the model number on the Range:
- Inside the cooktop (if it lifts open)
- Door Frame
- Side of the base unit (near the bottom)
- The frame of the broiler compartment
Look for the model number on the Oven:
- Door frame (side or bottom)
